How to get a Best friend?

Its a great achievement if you get a best friend. Here is some tips for you.

   Invite her over for a sleepover or some kind of get together.

   Sometimes when you get be alone with her talk to each other like about, yourselves, your likes, dislikes, etc.

   Catch up with her whenever possible. Be careful with this step because she might back out on you quickly.

   Get to know her other friends! If you don't like one of her friends don't expect her to jump into action and get rid of that certain friends. She will find you more likeable if you do so.

   Ask if you can come over to her house. Best friends go to each others houses very often or maybe not all to often if her family is mean or shes busy when you are free. It's always nice to be comfortable around her family.

   Go shopping together, and buy matching outfits.

   If she does not want to be your best friend, respect that of her. This does not mean that you can not be just friends.

Some tips:

• Call her/him every now and then. Do not call her everyday, or she/he will feel overwhelmed.
• Don't smother her/him, or she might not want to be friends with you.
• Don't try to make the girl mad. Being over obsessive could send the wrong message out and make her not want to hang out with you.
• Always have lots of free time if you want to have a BFF. If you have soccer, piano, violin, guitar, tap dancing, etc. . . then the friendship could end quickly.
• Be prepared! When she is your BFF you don't know what could happen. Oh no! Her boyfriend broke up with her! Yikes! She broke her leg before her cheer off! You need to be there for a friend and always know what to say.
• Talk about things that are important, like something cool, if she is talking about boys than don't talk about the concert!

• If she says no then make sure you don't show any emotion.
• Don't be too confident because you could get heartbroken!
• Not everything always works out. Don't expect for her to be by your side at all times.
• A truly terrible thing is when you pick up a bad friend and she talks behind your back, lie, or spreads rumors bout you. Is she that type of person? Has she gotten rid of many friends in the past? She can't be good so turn away not all to quickly.
